Les Hirondelles en action à Malley!

Tonight I went to Malley to see Laure playing ice Hockey with her team "Les Hirondelles du Littoral"


They played a great game!


I heard the effort to bring in is so instense, that they switch between players every 40 seconds...


Laure is very happy, her team won 11 to 1!

We have a new family member!

His name is Cali, he is 4 month old.


He's a Boxer...


His four paws are white, he's so pretty!


He likes to play "hide and seek" with his older "brother" Gizmo :-P



They find the pears very to their taste.

Micro-Tas - Paris - october 2007

The micro-TAS conference was help in Paris this year!


Just besides the conference site I met Caroline and Laurent...


Every evening, we had our "meeting point" for a drink along the "canal St Martin".


The conference dinner was help in the Musée d'Orsay...


We took a lot of pictures!

Fête des Vendanges 2007, Neuchâtel

Saas Fee, 18-19 August 2007

If I told you I went surfing for a week-end in August?
You would surely ask me: how were the waves?
For sure isn't it?


But only 2h30 from Lausanne there is the Glacier of Saas-Fee!!!
This was the first time Remo and I did the summer snow, and I can tell you it was the best thing!!! Ok, I agree, it is a bit expensive, and not very good for the environment. But for a crazy summer week-end it was just perfect!

We had to wake up at 7am every morning, as the slopes opened from 7.30am until 1pm only!

But we had two lovely sunny days... Sooo lucky!



And after the snow, another best thing: "la fondue chinoise" at Yvan's Aunt restaurant.

For Noise Festival, 9-11 august 2007

Aaaahhhh... Le fameux "Pully For Noise"... Quel bonheur ce festival! On y va en bus depuis lausanne-centre: seulement 10 minutes... et zouuuuuu: le paradis de la musique et des amis.
Tous les amoureux Lausannois de la musique s'y retrouve chaque année.


Remo et moi avons passé ces trois jours de festival avec Mumu et Aurore. On a bien rigolé :-)


Il y avait une expo sur le Punk: Mumu et Aurore s'essayent au défileur de diapos qui s'activait au son du micro... Délire!


Nous avons croisé Charles Samedi...


Nous avons aussi vu un ange sur la petite scène!


...et Thierry nous a rejoint en fin de soirée Samedi.

Basque country, july-august 2007

Remo and I went SURFING for two weeks in the Spanish side of the Basque country. This place is located in the North-East of Spain. Our favourite spot was Sopelana! The waves there were so powerful that we didn't need to paddle to catch the waves!!! It was so fun!



Prior to any outgoing, we had to heat-up our muscles...


Then we take the board, and attach its leash to one of our ankle...


...and there we go: SURFING!!!!


From Sopelana, we tough we should find other spots: direction Azturias...


We did two days camping in the Playa of Rodiles... But the waves were too small, so we decided to go back to the Basque country.


We were curious about "the wave of Mundaka", so we spent two days there! But still: no waves :-(


To reach the waves in Mundaka, one must swim on the board, and reach the sand bank that you can see on the back-right...


This monastery on a small peninsula was gorgeous! It was seen on the way from Mundaka to Sopelana.


And back to Sopelana, where the waves were as cool as usual! This day the wind was very strong, and you can notice a Kyte and a Windsuf in the back!
